The Cap de Creus tour is a route that pass by charming fishing villages, small rocky coves and the famous Dali’s museum in Figueres and Dali’s house in Portlligat.

 

During this journey you can visit the best beaches of the Costa Brava with the stunning blue sea reaching the magic blue of the sky. Walking throught the National Park of Cap de Creus. You can not miss to taste the seafood of this region.

ITINERARY

Arrival day

Day 1: Circular route in Roses

Day 2: Roses – Cadaques

Day 3: Circular route in Cadaqués

Day 4: Cadaqués – Port de la Selva

Day 5: Port de la Selva – Roses

Departure day

The tour starts in Roses where you can visit a sites with natural interest, such as, “Ciutadela”, that is an example of structure renaissantist. Walking in Roses you will walk to the Puig Alt (492m) that is a megalithic area where you can see dolmens, menhirs… You can visit the Dolmen of the la Creu d’en Corbatella, is the biggest prehistoric monument of Catalonia and the Cap de l’Home. Once you arrive to the top you will see an stunning vista of the Gulf of Roses. You should visit the city centre with narrow, irregular streets, it is worth a visit.

Next stop will be Cadaqués, the favourite town of Picasso and Dalí. Dalí lived and worked at his house were you can visit the site. The village of Cadaques is a snow-white village on the eastern place of the peninsula with a beautiful light – house from where you will have a fascinanting view. The maritime-terrestrial park was the first of Catalonia and if you desire you can practice diving. While you are walking through the paths of Cadaques and if it’s too hot you can go for a swim or ut your feet in the water to refresh yourself.

Port de la Selva is located also in the Cap de Creus National Park, in this area you can find wild and virgin caves which you can explore while walking, furthermore in this area is plenty of virgin beaches. From Port de la Selva you can visit the cloister of Sant Pere de Rodes.
